SunWest Studio, located in downtown historical Ventura, California has a unique photographic history. Having remained a photographic studio for over thirty years, in a historical 1923 Spanish Estate, we continue to create photographic and graphic design that is meaningful to our clients. We offer studio and outdoor areas to make you look your best and tell your story. As the owner of SunWest Studio, I personally have been a professional photographer for nearly thirty four years specializing in commercial photographic illustration.
This has meant that I have been taking pictures for a living for years of clothes, bottles, jewelry, people, models, places, shoes, kids, dogs, cats, cars, watches, toothbrushes, bankers, lawyers, families, weddings and regular folks. I lived and worked in a photographic loft studio in Manhattan New York City for twenty five years, and shot for International clients and national clients all over the place. I am a graduate of Art Center College of Design in Hollywood and have taught photography at the acclaimed Center for the Media Arts in Manhattan, New York. I have loved photography and what I do for so long now, it seems like its my life. In my new life, having returned to my native California stomping grounds I have put together a group of creative staff and I have found that my past skills have led me to what we are all about here at SunWest Studio, creating portraiture and quality images that will make you smile.
